Fireside Speaker: Henry Ammar

Henry Ammar is an international life speaker and entrepreneur who hosts the Top 10 Podcast, “Making It Happen with Henry Ammar.” Henry began his career in music and has performed on a Grammy Award-winning album and traveled the world sharing the stage with legends. Henry went from creating music to creating businesses, growing his Los Angeles based company into an international success. Following the sale of his company, Henry returned to school and graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Southern California & the Marshall School of Business. Henry now leverages his successes in music, leadership, and coaching to bring pop culture and practical empowerment together to free the world from fear and limiting beliefs and inspire confidence. Henry served in the bishopric in Irvine, CA and now makes his home in Salt Lake City And Los Angeles.

For the Saturday hike, please meet at the Beverly Trail parking lot near the above address (West on Baseline Rd, turn south on S. 46th St. Drive south until the road dead ends at the trail-head parking lot). The hike will begin promptly at 2 p.m.

Workshops

Below are the six speakers we have invited to facilitate our workshop sessions. As you can see in the schedule, you will only have time to attend three workshops. Therefore, identify your top-three choices and attend those workshops one after another. Each speaker will deliver the same presentation for each of their three sessions and each will present concurrently with the other speakers.

  • Melissa Guthrie – Embracing a Healthy Lifestyle
    Melissa Guthrie lives in Gilbert, Arizona and has made a career of her love of health and fitness, helping others through nutrition & fitness coaching as well as being a holistic health & wellness educator. Melissa has bachelor’s degrees in physiology and nutritional science. Putting her extra energy where her heart is, she is a highly competitive triathlete, competing for Team USA at the World Championship level.
  • Mindy Judd – Single Parenting and Co-parenting
    Mindy Judd is a life coach and an expert in the Love and Logic® approach to parenting. In 2005 her husband Brent was diagnosed with cancer and after a courageous nine-year battle, Brent sadly passed away. Through this tragedy, Mindy learned an invaluable set of interpersonal skills and determination to overcome life’s challenges. Her passion lies in helping others to communicate more effectively and to build stronger family relationships.
  • Jason Mow – Becoming a Warrior for Christ
    From missionary to Army paratrooper to fighting human smuggling in the Middle East, Jason uses his life experience to now serve in his local and national community, train actors in Hollywood to look, sound, and act like police officers and soldiers, as well as run his own multimedia company. Jason has a bachelor’s degree from NAU in education and has twice been awarded the Law Enforcement Medal of Honor.
  • Dan Oakes – Managing Sexuality and Living the Law of Chasity While Single
    Dan Oakes is the stake president of the Queen Creek Arizona East Stake and a licensed professional counselor and a certified sexual addictions counselor. President Oakes received his bachelor’s degree at ASU and completed a masters degree from NAU. Dan is committed to his wonderful wife Shannon, and their five children. Dan loves the gospel of Jesus Christ and seeks to find balance in his service to the Lord, his family, and his professional life.
  • Cameron Taylor – Victim to Victor
    Cameron is a best-selling author, highly sought-after speaker, and entrepreneur. Cameron is the author of ten books, including the LDS bestseller The Way of Aloha: Lanai and the international bestseller 8 Attributes of Great Achievers. Cameron graduated with honors from the Marriott School of Management at Brigham Young University and is the founder of several successful companies and charities.
  • Emily Sanchez – Communication in Dating
    Emily was raised in Thatcher, AZ in a competitive family environment with 9 other siblings that influenced her career choice as a life coach. Emily has experienced marriage, divorce, single parenthood and working full-time while managing it all. After successfully dating as a single parent, getting remarried and eventually going back to school to finish her bachelor’s degree from NAU, Emily is now a divorce coach who helps families throughout Arizona as well as running an LDS focused divorce-support podcast.
